This is where our experienced United Team collaborates with you to create initial designs of your dream home. It all starts with you envisioning the home of your dreams.

After the design agreement’s approval, we’ll work together to define the project’s broad conceptual ideas by learning about your goals and desires. At this stage, we’ll assist you in deciding on some of the essential details and we’ll guide you through the designing process.

Preliminary Design

At this phase, the scope of work will be developed through learning more about your unique priorities, needs, wants, and goals for the projects. We provide a revised budget analysis to narrow your project’s estimated cost based on your desired design. The results of this step include: concept drawings and a preliminary scope of work budget based on initial designs and your remodeling goals.

Design Development

During Phase Two, our dedicated team of interior designers distills your vision into various mood boards using the United Seattle Design Software, representing your style preferences and recommended material selections. Choosing styles, materials, finishes, and products as we finalize your new space’s aesthetic elements will help the actual construction run smoother, faster, and remain near the estimated expense. At this phase, we aim to achieve a clear vision of the project, with a comprehensive, itemized work and budget scope.

Design Agreement

This is the final design phase! At this phase, all decisions are finalized and well documented. This phase also allows for any last minute changes and provides the client with the opportunity to clarify any details before installation occurs.

Once you have decided on and fully committed to a design, our United Team works on bringing that design to life! This is where the magic begins!

The Execution stage occurs in 2 Unique Phases:

At this phase, we’ll give you a window of time within which we anticipate starting your home remodeling project. After the contract is signed and the deposit is collected, the project manager, designer, and client will go over the entire project’s scheduling. We will make sure to keep you updated on each action taken and the progress of your remodel through weekly check-ins. This way, you never have to wonder how long it will take and where we are in the installation phase. You will be kept fully in the loop.

Construction

This is the most awaited phase! The time has come for us to begin building the project of your dreams! Our goal is to make your home project easy, with proactive updates and minimal interruptions to your life.  Once construction is ongoing, we will remain committed to it until it’s done, respecting your home, keeping it clean and safe, and leaving you with a beautiful finished project.

How much will my remodel cost?

The remodeling cost varies. It depends on the following: the size of the building, the degree of remodeling, your desired features and finishes, the size of the room, the number of rooms in the house, and the amount of polishing that each room requires. How long will my remodel take?

The amount of time that it takes to complete a remodel depends on the type of remodel that you’re interested in. The timetable for a remodel can vary depending on the type of room that you’re remodeling, how large the space is, as well as your desired features and finishes. For instance, a brand new kitchen from start to finish would take considerably longer than replacing a few appliances, countertops, and fixtures. Where should I start remodeling?

When you’re trying to remodel your whole home, you might wonder where to start, or you’re supposed to do it all at once. When you live through the remodeling in your house, you may want to take the remodel room by room. If you’re not going to be in the place during the remodeling, though, you may want to do it at once, which might help streamline the process.

What if I have some design work already complete or fixtures already picked out?

Design is at the core of our service, with everything else flowing from it — materials selection and purchasing, architecture, permitting, and construction. We’re always excited to incorporate your feedback, ideas, and pre-existing preferences (Pinterest boards!), and we work off of your design work.

I already have a contractor, can we still work together?

Yes, under two conditions: you haven’t started working on the project yet and we can provide both the materials and installation for the specific trade. If those conditions are met, we would be delighted to meet your contractor and work alongside them to bring your dream project to life!

How does payment work?

After the contract is signed, we take a 50% deposit, which covers your design and allows us to kick off your project by ordering materials. Once construction has started, you will be billed after each trade has been completed and verified. This will continue to the completion of the entire project. We proudly offer a flexible financing option with Enhancify. We will happily discuss the details with you at your complimentary consultation.

Are your contractors licensed & insured?

Yes, every contractor we work with is licensed, insured, and bonded. Many of them have over 10 years of experience in high-end residential and commercial remodeling. United Signature is also a licensed general contractor, and we have our insurance policy that makes sure you’re protected, no matter what.
