23 Broadway
United Seattle built the complete exterior envelope on 23 Broadway, a seven-story apartment building in Tacoma's Stadium District, working for general contractor Rush Commercial Construction.
Mayer Built Homes developed the 53-unit building, designed by Weinstein A+U, with four residential floors over parking and a rooftop amenity level overlooking Commencement Bay. Our scope wrapped the whole building, from weather barrier to Thermory wood siding and soffits.
Work ran from mid-2023 until the building opened for leasing in late 2024. One contract, one point of contact, and the same crew from start to finish.

At 23 Broadway in Tacoma, United Seattle installed the weather-resistive barrier and flashing first, detailing every window and transition so the envelope was sealed before any cladding went up.
The finish exterior pairs Thermory thermally modified wood siding with aluminum panels and fiber cement, with matching Thermory soffits at the entries and overhangs. Boom lifts and staged deliveries kept the crews productive on a tight urban site.
