Skagit County Courthouse

Public buildings demand clean work, tight schedules, and crews who can operate around daily operations. At the Skagit County Courthouse in Mount Vernon, WA, United Seattle delivered exactly that: an interior renovation scope covering metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, and acoustic ceiling tile.


Working inside an occupied courthouse means dust control, after-hours coordination, and crews who respect the building and the people in it. Our team framed new partitions, hung and finished drywall to a Level 4 smooth surface, and installed the ACT grid and tile to complete the ceilings.


The project ran from fall 2025 into early 2026 and adds to United Seattle's growing list of county, state, and municipal work across Western Washington — the kind of experience that lets public-agency general contractors put us on their bid list with confidence.

More About the Project...

At the Skagit County Courthouse at 605 South Third Street in Mount Vernon, WA, United Seattle provided the interior finish package for the renovated spaces. Our framing crew set non-structural metal studs to lay out the new rooms, then insulated the partitions for sound control between offices.


Our drywall team hung gypsum board and taped and finished every joint to a smooth, paint-ready surface. Overhead, we installed the suspended acoustic ceiling grid and tiles, tying in with the building's lighting and mechanical layout so the finished spaces look and perform like the rest of the courthouse.

From a single-room renovation to a full-floor build-out, we bring the crews, the materials, and the project management to deliver on schedule and within budget.
