Everett Mall Bus Platform

Transit facilities take a beating from weather and daily use, so the exterior has to be built right. On the Everett Mall bus platform at 1202 SE Everett Mall Way in Everett, WA, United Seattle installed the siding, cedar tongue-and-groove, weather barrier, and flashing package on the new passenger structure.


Our crews began work in late summer 2025, installing the weather-resistive barrier and hat channel first to create a ventilated rain-screen assembly, then setting the flashing details and finish cladding. The result is a clean, durable exterior designed to look good for years in a high-traffic public setting.


Just minutes from United Seattle's Everett headquarters, this project is a small but meaningful piece of the public infrastructure work we perform for cities, transit agencies, and their general contractors across Snohomish County.

More About the Project...

At the Everett Mall bus platform in Everett, WA, United Seattle delivered the exterior cladding scope for the new transit structure. Our crews installed the weather-resistive barrier and furring hat channel to create a drainable, ventilated rain-screen assembly before any finish material went on.


With the envelope prepared, our siding team installed the flashing at every edge and penetration, then set the finish cladding, including cedar tongue-and-groove accents, that gives the platform its finished look. Every detail was coordinated with the project's specifications for a public transit facility.
