EL MIRADOR WITH MCBRIDE CONSTRUCTION

United Seattle is delighted to share about our recent adventure with McBride Construction at the El Mirador project. This venture allowed us to truly flex our skills in siding, painting, and roofing, bringing together form and function in harmony.

Our journey began with the installation of Vaproshield IT WRB and PT furring for rainscreen. These steps are like setting the stage for the building's exterior, providing a sturdy foundation that offers weather protection and effective ventilation. From there, our team dressed the building in James Hardie cement fiber siding and soffits. This material is a workhorse in the world of siding - sturdy, long-lasting, and with a versatile look that fits beautifully into any design.

The entryway was given a touch of elegance with the installation of Cedar Valley 1x6 VG V2E soffit board. It added a splash of natural charm that made the building's facade feel welcoming. To hold it all together, we used galvanized fasteners, a reliable choice known for their steadfast resistance to corrosion.

Then, our team turned their attention to the roof. Incorporating soffit vents and roof fascia, they ensured proper ventilation and gave a neat, finished look. Every joint and seam were carefully sealed with flashing tape, caulking, sealant, and spackle, creating a roof that's ready to face the elements.

Finally, it was time for our painting maestros to step in. With their meticulous strokes, they applied color to the exterior, like the final brushstrokes on a canvas, bringing everything together in a beautiful harmony of color.
