Hue Apartments
United Seattle installed the siding on Hue Apartments in downtown Redmond, working for general contractor Rush Commercial Construction on a six-story, 93-unit building near light rail.
Rush Development and Pastakia + Associates developed Hue, designed by Urbal Architecture. Window frames painted in reds, oranges and yellows give the facade a sunset gradient, which is where the name comes from, and our cladding frames every one of them.
Crews worked from lifts and boom rentals from spring 2023 until the building opened in spring 2024. One contract, one point of contact, and the same crew from start to finish.

More About the Project...
At Hue in Redmond, United Seattle started with a VaproShield weather-resistive barrier and flashing at every opening, creating a continuous, drainable envelope before any siding went up.
The finish exterior combines aluminum siding with vertical metal fins that frame the colored windows, plus Longboard wood-look aluminum at the sky lounge and the ground-floor canopies. Boom lifts and careful sequencing kept work moving on a tight downtown site.
